Otium Logistics is hiring a serious, fast, calm, and accountable Director of Operations to lead daily execution, dispatch oversight, load tracking, driver field support, customer updates, breakdown response, paperwork flow, and operational accountability.
Position Overview
Otium Logistics is a movement infrastructure company building a disciplined driver-to-owner ecosystem rooted in safety, protection, ownership, service, family, and legacy.
The Director of Operations will be responsible for making sure freight moves safely, cleanly, efficiently, and professionally. This role protects truck movement, driver execution, customer updates, load status, dispatch discipline, breakdown response, delay management, paperwork handoff, and the company’s reputation.
Key responsibilities include managing active loads, monitoring driver status, confirming pickup and delivery updates, overseeing dispatch decisions, coordinating with Safety, Revenue, Driver Relations, and Sales, handling breakdowns and delays, updating the dispatch board, collecting PODs/BOLs, and submitting daily and weekly operations reports.
The law of this role is:
No blind movement. No dispatch without clearance. No load without status. No delivery without paperwork. No issue without owner. No delay without update. No open problem without a clock.
Operations is where pressure lives. The right person must not panic, disappear, delay, or make excuses. This role requires discipline, speed, truth, calmness, ownership, and strong communication.
Apply only if you are ready to protect movement
